Constructed of Polypropylene, a strong, rust-free plastic body and a chrome plated ABS cover. Protects dishwashers from sewage back-flow and contamination in drain lines. Introduces air to the top most level in order to break the water flow and to prevent siphoning in the drain line after drain period. Cover and water passageway cap are easily and quickly removable if cleaning is required.
